She was the one girl I never wanted-until I had her. It was one night, one mistake, something we both wanted to forget. I got rid of the proof. The one piece of evidence that could remind us both. At least, I thought I did. When it shows up on the school Buzzfeed, rumors fly. Friendships are tested, and the feels get real. I don't do relationships. I don't open my heart. Especially for a girl everyone knows I hate. What happens during spring break stays in spring break-until it follows you home.Contains mature themes.

Ok, not great
By Kindle Customer
This one was just ok for me. I liked Ivy & Braedan, but I didn't fall in love with them like I did with Romeo & Rim. For me they weren't together enough. Most of the book they're denying that they even like each other, so they're not together for most of it. If I'm being completely honest, I would have to say that my favorite part of this story was how much Romeo & Rim are in it. If you're a fan of Rome & Rimmel you'll enjoy those parts, the main story unfortunately is just ok.

4.5 #Fangs!

It's no secret that I love this series. It's one of my favorites.
Braeden and Ivy were very important characters in the last three books. They hate each other, right? or so they think until Spring break. One night together and neither can forget the other one. Hiding what they feel for each other is another story. They both tried hard to stay away but when Ivy is threatened and starts getting bullied Braeden steps up to the plate.
Romeo and Rimmel are a big part of this book. It's always sweet to see more of one of my favorite couples. When Romeo defends Ivy, I swooned a little bit! Why can't this be a movie?? Why??
I really liked Ivy in this book. She is trying to become someone she is happy with. No more partying and loosing control. She is very supportive of Rimmel and she's trying to atone for her mistakes.
Braeden is Romeo's best friend, a fellow jock and a popular guy. He is also super sweet to his mother, a brother to Rimmel and an honest guy. He told the truth to the girls he went out with. He was not ready for anything serious until Spring Break. Surprisingly, he has a connection with Ivy he can't deny any more.
I love this couple and immersing in their lives and tribulations is what I needed. However, their story is not done and I know keeping secrets is never good. #Poser is going to be awesome!
Cliffhanger: No

Another great hit from Cambria Hebert and for the Hashtag series
By Wild Heart Reviews
#Selfie is the fourth book in Cambria Hebert’s “The Hashtag Series”. Normally I wouldn’t say this on a fourth book, but I fully believe that this one can be read as a standalone. I wouldn’t suggest it, but it can be and you’d only be mildly confused. This book is written in first person alternating point-of-view between Braeden and Ivy. (Romeo and Rimmel’s best friends!) Because these two characters are starting their own story is why I say it can be read alone.
Straight up, I’m not even sure where to start. I know I say that sometimes, but for #Selfie I’m really not sure. I love the characters in this series… Braeden and Ivy have completely stolen me in this book too. I can’t figure out which to start with. I’m basically going to pick a spot and dive in. I went into #Selfie thinking that because I’d read the first three books, I knew what was in store. You sort of know Ivy already, and think you for sure know Braeden.
I’m going to be completely clear here and state that I did not think I’d like Ivy at all. I was worried I’d hate her, so after reading the book and getting to know the character one-on-one as opposed to via Rimmel’s relationship with her, I love love love Ivy. I didn’t snip the quote but somewhere in the beginning of the book you find out that she doesn’t dress for anyone else, or do her hair and make up for anyone else either. She does it for herself, to feel good about herself. When you’re put together, you just feel better. I agree with that!
Even as much as you read about Braeden? I wasn’t prepared for him either. He blew my socks off! When it even comes to talking about him, I sort of stop and stare. He is a strong character, he has a big heart, he’s protective, loyal to a fault, and one of those guys that just makes you melt. He can come off flippant and sarcastic… the way he and Ivy argue is comical. It’s bickering but with chemistry.
These two have a complete hate relationship, or so it seems. I would call this book one of the very definitions of a hate to lover book. They say there is a thin line between love and hate? Braeden and Ivy walk it. I don’t to say too much without giving things away and the teasers I’m including should do that enough.
Of course, it’s another year at Alpha U, things are crazy. The BuzzBoss is still in action, and still mysterious… to an extent. ;) You find out repercussions of things took place in the first three books, that are just now coming out for Ivy and B in #Selfie. You find out about their families, their backgrounds… so much more about both of them. The whole crew is around still too.
As always, #Selfie is a five star book for me. I haven’t found a Hashtag book yet that hasn’t knocked me over sideways. Cambria’s writing just sucks me in. I love her plots, I love her plot twists, I love her characters and story lines. I even love it when she throws a cliffhanger at me, because I know the next book is going to be worth it. She never fails to surprise me and usually I’m blown away when it happens. I had more than one of those moments with #Selfie. As always, finding this left me with an ultimate #HashtagHangover, and it was totally worth it.
