Good but not completely stand alone

I bought this prior to taking a live training in this form. The book is exactly the same as the from taught by the trainer from China. However there are many small nuances that the book does not explain. Fortunately the included DVD and CD help greatly in this respect. But it is better to use this as a reminder after taking a live training.
Overall, however, these books from the Chinese Health Qigong Association are some of the best on the market.

I can't say enough about the Chinese Health QiGong Association's instructional materials - they are the best on the market. I bought everything they've produced and highly recommend them all to qi gong enthusiasts. Most come with a DVD AND a CD along with the book.

Presented in this book and DVD set is another gem of Chinese art of Qigong (Daoyin in this case). This is great form to learn and could be perfect addition before your sitting meditative practice. I learned it years ago with very slight differences as Sitted Ba Duan Jin. Strongly recommend it to any qigong practitioner at least to try, but almost sure you will love it and use for years
